Pamela has an undergraduate degree (in Planetary Science!?) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in management from the Sloan School of Management, M.I.T., with concentrations in decision sciences and organization studies. Her master's thesis involved development and use of a statistically-based simulation model to assist in making scheduling policy decisions for a major surgical service at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Pamela worked in the Washington, D.C. office of Putnam, Hayes & Bartlett, an economic and management consulting firm. Pamela is a full member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals -- AIIP.
Alan Goldberg has been a partner of Decision Support Systems & Services since 1991, providing expertise on issues relating to space science and communications technology. He obtained his undergraduate degree in physics from M.I.T. and did his graduate work at the University of Texas and at M.I.T. (Earth & Planetary Sciences). Alan also has work experience with Mitretek, Atlantic Aerospace Electronics, the Hubble Space Telescope Institute and Perkin-Elmer.
